Matthew Manka is a Licensed Professional Geologist with more than 30 years of experience in the environmental industry. His broad background includes work as an environmental consultant, an environmental contractor, a geologist for a US EPA technical assistance team, and a third-party inspector on major construction sites. Matt has managed a wide range of environmental assessment, remediation, geotechnical, and due diligence projects for national corporations and small independent businesses across the Midwest and Southeastern United States, extending as far west as Nebraska and Oklahoma and as far south as Louisiana. He brings extensive experience investigating and remediating sites impacted by petroleum products, chlorinated solvents, metals, mold, asbestos, and other hazardous substances.
In his current role as a Senior Project Manager, Matt directs soil, groundwater, and vapor investigations and cleanups for multiple sites throughout Indiana. His work includes supervising subcontractors, managing compliance documentation, preparing and overseeing project budgets, and building strong client relationships. He also collaborates with responsible parties, attorneys, and regulators to develop remediation strategies that meet client objectives and regulatory requirements, and he provides mentorship to junior staff.
