Nu-Yale hires firm for remediation project in Jeffersonville

Articles in the New Albany Times Tribune and American Drycleaner discuss EnviroForensics’ work at Nu-Yale Cleaners in Jeffersonville, which involved the investigation and remediation of below-ground contaminants. To collect soil samples, our team of environmental professionals excavated contaminated soil inside the building, a complicated process considering the load-bearing building foundations, underground utilities and limited waste staging areas. After excavation, groundwater monitoring wells were installed to assess the effect of soil removal on groundwater quality. EnviroForensics’ remediation plan has been approved by the Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM).
