Mr. Bolint has 16 years in planning, design, construction, operation and maintenance of environmental remediation systems, including air sparge systems, soil vapor extraction (SVE) systems, groundwater extraction and treatment (GWE&T) systems, dual phase extraction (DPE) and multi-phase extraction (MPE) systems, in-situ chemical oxidation (ISCO), various pumping systems, and aeration systems. James also has extensive experience conducting groundwater sampling, subsurface investigations, Phase I environmental site assessments (ESAs), asbestos inspections, emissions testing, indoor air quality(IAQ) studies, biological observations (including coral reef assessments and species identification), oil spill clean-up, remote video inspections (RVI), and health & safety policy and procedure development and implementation. Mr. Bolint is also skilled in Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), and Human Machine Interfaces (HMI) to provide efficient and cost effective remediation designs. In recent years, more attention has been given to the vapor exposure pathway by state regulators and the EPA. Consequently, Mr. Bolint has directed numerous vapor intrusion investigations, designed remediation strategies to address the vapor intrusion pathway, and designed active and passive vapor mitigation systems as engineering controls for residences, large industrial buildings, and municipal buildings.
